Use iRead Over Break

The students in grades K-2 are using a fun and engaging computer program as part of their reading instruction. We would love it if the kids logged on for 20 minutes a day to stay sharp over break.

Here are the instructions:

Note: This is a different link than they use at school.

The iRead Family Portal provides families with the tools they need to stay connected to their children’s work at school.

There is a log in area at the upper right part of the screen that will allow students to access the software.

Put in the zip code for 40220 Jefferson County Public School District.

Students will then be asked to log in using their username and password. Most students have memorized this number, if not the parent must ask the teacher for this number.
NOTE: The computer used at home must have Adobe Flash Player to access the software.
