The Louisville Free Public Library’s annual Summer Reading Program is back, encouraging kids to read for fun while school is out and offering some great prizes, like a backpack, UofL tickets, and passes to area attractions.
New this year, LFPL is offering online registration for Summer Reading through an exciting digital service called Beanstack. Beanstack is a parent-engagement tool that connects families with free reading recommendations and educational programs like Summer Reading and the Mayor’s Cultural Pass. The Summer Reading Program and Cultural Pass are both FREE – visit LFPL.org/SummerReading to register today. Cultural Passes are now available for pick-up at all 18 library locations and Summer Reading begins June 1. Be sure to join us for the kick-off event READING IS MAGICAL: A Summer Reading Celebration, Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Main Library (301 York Street). |
