There are a lot of ways for kids to stay sharp when they are out of school. Here are some that you and your kids will enjoy.
We urge students and parents to log on to wonderopolis.org. The “WONDER OF THE DAY” is number 506, which is once again weather-related. ‘WHAT ARE MUKLUKS?” We recommend wonderopolis.org in partnership with the National Center For Family Learning, which developed the site to keep students engaged in learning.
BrainPop and BrainPop Junior provide kid-friendly movies and games that explain curricular topics. Students can optionally take a quiz after the movie to see how much they learned.
Goldsmith kids can log in to BrainPop, BrainPop Espanol, and BrainPop Junior using the username goldsmithelementary and password dolphins.
Tumble Books “is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they’ll love.”
Goldsmith kids can log in to Tumble Books at TumbleBooks.com and use the username Goldsmith and password books.
Enjoy your day!
