Guest Post: Play Review

A note from a Goldsmith mom:

A small review of a Big Performance – Of Mice and Mozart, 29 April 2014.

The 4th and 5th graders under Mrs. Garren’s direction put on a wonderful production this evening. With words and music that engaged a fully packed cafetorium of parents, siblings, staff and other family members, the students drew us into the life and music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This was done as a story passed down through all the descendants of the little mice that hid in the home and traveled with Mozart throughout his life. The students did a super job of learning and performing their lines – some learned just moments before the start of the show. Excellent examples of rising to the occasion and the show must go on. Well done fourth and fifth graders, Ms. Garren, and a special thanks to Mr. Smallwood for sound.
